How to Get a Resident Permit and Work Permit in Turkey?

P.s. You must have a passport or a document substituting for passport which is 60 days longer than your stay duration in Turkey. If your passport validation shall expire before 1 year, then the permitted duration for residence permit cannot exceed the duration of your passport.

Therefore, please kindly send the scanned copy of your photo and passport and provide the below information. When we receive the required information, we will file the online residence permit application for you and obtain the earliest appointment date possible. Due to the extreme workload of Immigration Office in Istanbul, the earliest date we can obtain as appointment date can be from 10 to 60 days after application date.

The below information is required for the application:

  • Name and surname of your mother and father
  • Your permanent address information in your home country and Turkey
  • Expiration date of the Private Health Insurance Policy, insurance company and insurance policy number (if you have, if you don’t we will get you an insurance policy),
  • Your educational status, your occupation and income information,
  • Reason for staying in Turkey.

 Also, the below documents are required too:

  1. Scanned copy of the passport (Pages containing identity information and the page containing photo along with the processed pages)
  2. Four (4) Photos (Must have been taken within the last 6 months, against a White background and biometric)
  3. A notarized copy of the rental agreement (If the applicant staying in a rental house with a rental agreement)
  4. Hotel Letter (Stamped and Signed), invoices and other probative documents regarding applicant’s stay (If the applicant staying at the places like hotel, motel etc.)
  5. E-visa document or a copy of the visa stamp on your passport (If you are a visa-free foreigner then you must pay an additional USD 100 for the visa, because the Immigration Office doesn’t accept the applications without visa payment)
